Absolutely loved the atmosphere, drinks & service here! The brown sugar banana cream latte is easily the best latte I’ve had in years. This is a must stop & must return!

I’ve been in Minnesota for a little over a year and is excited that I was able to experience this establishment. The coffee was tasteful, and he atmosphere was clean and calm with great music playing in the background. The staff. Was pleasant but I was surprised that they wasn’t any African American staff members present, considering that they are black owned ... Nevertheless, I am happy that I went. I will return.

I live Northside but I try Americanos all over the city. The Americano here is light and nutty. It was different but very good. The aesthetic is super cute. I love to coffeewalk and the proximity to the parkway is a plus for me. As a lifelong resident of North I would say the neighborhood is reflected in the clientele and the staff. We have a mix of people here. I think the black porter history of the intersection is pretty cool too.

From service, to atmosphere, to cleanliness and finally taste... this is hands down the best in Minnesota. And I am a coffee connoisseur. They have the sweetest baristas, so welcoming and kind. Amazing and unique drink items! Like wow. Delicious food. Super cute aesthetic. Can’t wait to come back. Keep up the good work!!!

Great place! Delicious coffee and a lot of unique drink options. Delicious pastries. Excellent, friendly service. Small but very comfortable, cozy place to chill a bit.

The Get Down Coffee Shop is truly a hidden gem worth every mile of the drive! Even though it’s a bit out of my way, the experience makes it all worthwhile. The variety of coffee options is impressive, offering something for every palate—from classic brews to unique blends. The atmosphere is nothing short of amazing; it’s cozy and inviting, making it the perfect spot to unwind or catch up with friends. Cleanliness is clearly a priority here, which adds to the overall pleasant experience. Plus, the staff are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, always ready to help you choose your next favorite drink. On my most recent visit, I picked up some coffee beans to take home, and I can’t wait to try them out! If you’re a coffee lover or just looking for a great place to relax, Get Down Coffee Shop should definitely be on your list. Can’t recommend it enough!

The food and vibes are chill and inviting. My go to drinks are the matcha and the Go Ninja Hot Chocolate. The food is good, but they run out fast.

I loved this whole space. They have plenty of coffee options but unfortunately not so much for food. Inside passed the vibe check. There’s outdoor seating with shade and street parking. They play good music that even plays outside. Friendly service and would recommend!
